Criterion Games, завоевавшая всеобщее признание команда разработчиков, создает новую игру знаменитой серии Need for Speed. Новая игра серии, создаваемая по мотивам одноименного классического хита, получила название Need for Speed Hot Pursuit - впервые представлена на выставке Electronic Entertainment Expo в Лос-Анджелесе.

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, которая поступит в продажу в ноябре 2010 года, возвращает игроков к истокам серии и напряженному противостоянию гонщиков и полицейских. Попутно Criterion поднимает ставки и представляет новую сетевую службу под названием Need for Speed Autolog. Здесь гонщики смогут сравнивать результаты заездов и общаться со своими друзьями – возможность, которая должна изменить представление о сетевых гонках у нового поколения игроков.

В Need for Speed Hot Pursuit игроки смогут ощутить восторг погони в режимах карьеры при игре как за гонщиков, так и за полицейских – в одиночку или в Интернете. Все скоростные преследования подключены к Need for Speed Autolog. Эта сетевая служба не только объединяет друзей в эпических заездах, но также позволяет игрокам сравнивать результаты своих гонок, закладывая основу для глобального состязания.

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit разрабатывается студией Criterion Games и будет выпущена для PC и развлекательных систем Xbox 360® и PlayStation®3 16 ноября 2010 года в Северной Америке и 18-19 ноября 2010 года в Европе. Информация о запуске игры в России будет объявлена дополнительно.

Criterion Games, the command which has won a general recognition of developers, creates a new game of well-known Need for Speed series. The new game of the series creating on motives of the eponymous classical hit was named Need for Speed Hot Pursuit; for the first time it is presented at the exhibition Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles.

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit which will go on sale in November, 2010, returns the players to the sources of the series and intense opposition of racers and policemen. Casually Criterion raises the stakes and presents a new network service under the name Need for Speed Autolog. Here racers can compare results of heats and communicate with the friends – the opportunity which should change a new generation of players’ representation about network races.

In Need for Speed Hot Pursuit players can feel delight of a pursuit in career modes at game both for racers, and for policemen – alone or in the Internet. All high-speed pursuits are connected to Need for Speed Autolog. This network service not only unites friends in epic arrivals, but also allows players to compare results of the races, putting a basis for global competition.

Craig Sullivan who is the creative director of the project speaks: «We in studio Criterion has been playing Need for Speed from the moment of its first occurrence on 3DO. The possibility to rethink this game, having made its more suitable for modern network players, is the most fascinating work and a great honor for us. We want to make the opposition of racers and policemen so cheerful, fast and fascinating that players could really feel adrenaline and dynamics of a high-speed police pursuit together with the friends».
