У традиционных наручных часов одно предназначение — показывать время. Для этого необходимо лишь наличие часовой и минутной стрелок и, возможно, индикатора запаса хода, чтобы следить за течением временем. В модели MB&F HM4 Thunderbolt есть часовая и минутная стрелки и индикатор запаса хода. HM4 Thunderbolt показывает время. Но MB&F HM4 Thunderbolt, не обычные часы. Вдохновением при создании часов стал «мир авиации».

«Мотор» часов появился в результате трех долгих лет исследований и разработок. Каждая из 311 деталей, включая регулятор и даже винты, были спроектированы специально для этой модели. Два параллельно расположенных заводных барабана обеспечивают модели 72-часовой запас хода. Они передают энергию индикаторам, выполненным в форме турбин, посредством вертикально расположенных систем зубчатой передачи. Плавно изогнутая сапфировая панель с верхней стороны корпуса позволяет детально рассмотреть балансовый мост, который имеет обтекаемую форму. Его центральная часть срезана так, чтобы максимально открыть колесо баланса и продемонстрировать истинную «кинетику».

Настоящее произведение искусства можно оценить, лишь осмотрев его со всех сторон. Модель Thunderbolt не исключение: стоит ее перевернуть – и нашему взгляду открывается захватывающая панорама микромеханических деталей с безупречной отделкой, видимая сквозь сапфировую панель.

Traditional watches has one mission which is to show time. For this purpose just hour and minute hands are needed and also probably the indicator of action radius to watch a current time. MB&F HM4 Thunderbolt has hour and minute hands and the indicator of action radius. HM4 Thunderbolt shows time. But MB&F HM4 Thunderbolt is not usual watches. The “aircraft world” has become inspiration for creation of watches.

The «motor» of the watches has appeared as a result of three long years of researches and development. Each of 311 details including a regulator and even screws has been designed specially for this model. Two parallel located barrel drums provide the model the 72-sentry action radius. They transfer energy to the indicators executed in the form of turbines by means of vertically located systems of a gearing. Smoothly bent sapphire panel from the top of the case allows to examine in details the balance cock which has a streamline shape. Its central part is cut off in such a way that to open a wheel of balance as much as possible and to show true «kinetics».

The present work of art can be estimated, only having examined it from different directions. Model Thunderbolt is not an exception: it is necessary to turn it – and the fascinating panorama of micromechanical details with faultless furnish, visible through the sapphire panel, opens to our sight.
